2013 Winter Conference

CCPIOA hosted a half-day event geared towards public information and effectively communicating with the media and public.  More than 50 people registered for the Winter Conference and some participants came from as far as middle Georgia.  The day focused on lessons learned from other public information officers; how to successfully handle media frenzies and high-profile trials; how to build effective public education strategies; and how to foster media relationships.
